A party is a temporary group of individual players adventuring together. Most parties form to achieve a certain goal that is impossible to achieve alone, e.g. clearing a dungeon or performing a siege. Other parties may be formed automatically by the game, e.g. when joining an arena match. Beside these, it's always possible to form a party without a specific goal in mind. A party may be formed with strangers, friends or guild members.

Party Size

Unlike traditional MMORPGs, where the maximum party size varies between five or six players per party, Ashes of Creation goes even bigger. Dungeons and other encounters encourage the presence of each primary archetype and their special skills they bring along. Therefore, the party size in Ashes of Creation is limited to eight (8) players per party.[1]
